Gathering on the Green July 12, 2008 Milwaukee Ballet is scheduled to perform at the annual Gathering on the Green performing arts festival at Rotary Park in Mequon on Saturday, July 12. The Ballet's performance will include Tchaikovsky Pas de deux choreographed by George Balanchine with original music from Act III of Swan Lake, and Overture to Candide choreographed by Artistic Director Michael Pink and music by Leonard Bernstein. Gathering on the Green will also feature performances by Florentine Opera, Skylight Opera Theatre, Ton Ko-Thi African Dance Ensemble, and the Gathering on the Green Festival Orchestra.
